OM SADHANA AND ITS BENEFITS

Chakra Correlation, Chakra Healing
Tattwa Jaya (Tattwa Sidhi), Granthi Veda and Self Realisation
(Conquering the biological knots)

Kriya Yog has been in existence since time immemorial. It is described and practiced under different names through ages. In the Bhagabat Gita it is mentioned in the fourth chapter that God Himself revealed these self-realizing, Happiness and peace giving techniques to the earliest leaders of Human beings. In the beginning of Kalijug, Babaji (Mahavatar) brought it out from antiquity and set in a silent, slow but steady spiritual revolution, to reduce the sufferings of human beings and for God-realization. These techniques are taught personally by the Guru to the disciple or Father to the son and passed on to the posterity. Also, many of these techniques have been described in the ancient classic Yog Classics such as: GHERANDA SAMHITA; GORAKHYA SAMHITA; SHIVA SAMHITA; HATHA YOG PRADIPIKA and some other works in Sanskrit. But these are known as Gurumukhi Vidya, i.e. to be learnt personally from the Guru. Though many traditions pass it on, these, the modern day teachings are passed on from Babaji to Lahiri Mahasaya and his illustrious many disciples, who formed and continued their lineages of Kriya Yog. Some of these Masters are, SriJukteswarji; Pranabanandaji; Panchanan Bhattacharyaji; Sanyal Mahasayaji; the sons of Lahiri Mahasaya and Kebalanandaji; Keshavanandaji and many others.

Very few selected people knew about these techniques and kept it alive, until Paramahansa Yogananda, published his all-time bestseller, the epoch making book – “Autobiography of a Yogi”. Then the closely guarded techniques left the boundaries of India and became Global and then cosmic. Nobody can rival the vital role of Paramahansa Yoganandaji in making these wonderful Kriya Yog techniques reach every nook and corner of the world, every human being, irrespective of religion, nationality, sect, caste, creed and gender and culture. We bow to the holy memory of these selfless Masters, and pray that we learn properly these Kriya Yog techniques and practice these, correctly, sincerely, and lovingly and enjoy the physical, mental, verbal and spiritual benefits.

Only through these, one can escape the sins of anger, fear, fear, hatred, and jealousy, criticizing others, intolerance, unhealthy and negative rivalry. Also, by these one can prevent psychosomatic diseases and usher in a healthier, harmonious, happier age. We plan to bring out a series of articles on Kriya Yog and its different techniques – their benefits and scientific and systematic co-relations. In this first article of this series, we deal with the OM SADHANA (Om Technique) and its benefits. It necessitates the basic knowledge of the spine, the Brain, the Chakras and correlation of scientific, Praanic, Symbolic and Spiritual aspects.

The OM in short symbolizes the totality of Gods Power and Presence. Since the earlier days of the Holy Scriptures, Veda and the Upanishads, volumes have been written about the OM. It is the mystic symbol of the Subtlest Life Energy (creative energy). It is the totality of Time and Space; the Creation and the Creator; Past, Present and Future, and also Mayaa and Mayaateeta. It is also wakeful, dream, deep sleep and Samadhi status known as Turiya (Turiyaateeta, beyond Turiya also).

Remove Negative Energy - By correctly practicing this Om Sadhana, one can remove the negative harmful energy from the chakras and attain chakra harmony or chakra balancing. One can also prevent the bad effects of stars and planets.

Revitalizing - Scientifically speaking, these techniques can revitalize the different nerve Plexuses along the anterior aspect of the spine and the vertebral column. Thus, this can prevent many diseases of the internal organs of the human system.

Each chakra has scientific co-relation too. These are not only physiological and anatomical structures, but also Praanic or life energy centers. These are also symbolic of different levels of vital awareness as the Kriya Yog student progresses to different Lokas or levels of the Cosmic Experiences. Many other spiritual paths other than Kriya Yog also use these Chakra Systems for their Sadhana such as The Tantras; Tantric Budhism; The Aghoris and many others.

What is Chakra? - The name Chakra is a Sanskrit word, meaning whirling or revolving Energy radiating substance, full of vital energy and is very subtle. It can wax and wan in its vitality levels.

The Chakras are also described as LOTUSES (flowers) (PADMA) – 8 of them, starting at the bottom of the spine, Muladhar with 4 petals; then Swadhisthan (Generative) with 6 petals; then Manipurak (Navel) with 10 petals; then Anahat (Heart) with 12 petals; then Visudha (Neck) with 16 petals; then Agnya (soul or forehead) 2 petals; then the top of head Sahasrar with thousand petals; then the eighth, about a foot above the head, the formless with infinite number of petals.

Suicide
The one who gives in to suicide, as the ultimate solution for the anguishing problems of life, is completely wrong. Life is endless, it is an eternal asset granted by God to His children, which purpose is the continuous progress of human beings until they reach spiritual perfection. A suicide faces despairing situations in the spiritual plane, even more intense and painful than the ones experienced here on Earth. No one has the right of putting an end to his or her own life. The body dies, disintegrates, the spirit, however, will continue alive, atoning for its actions in compliance with the eternal and immutable divine Law. Moreover, in the subsequent incarnations a guilty spirit will face bigger and more afflictive problems which can even mark its new physical body with irreversible sequels, consequence of an unthoughtful behaviour. How many people now live painful existences, marked by a suicide committed in previous lives. The desertion of the organic life doesn't put an end to bitterness, on the

WHY SHOULD WE STUDY SPIRITISM ?

Many people today live stressful lives and are not interested in the fundamentals of existence. They prefer to worry about their businesses, their pleasures and their personal problems. They think that matters like "the existence of God" and "the immortality of the soul" belong only to priests, church ministers, philosophers and theologians. When everything in their lives is going well they seldom remember God. When they do it is only to offer a brief prayer or go to church on Sunday, as if these attitudes were merely obligations which everyone must fulfil in one way or another. For these people, religion is a mere social formality, something that everyone should do, nothing more. Mostly it is a matter of satisfying their conscience, in the hope of being in God’s good books. So much so, that many do not even hold a firm conviction of what they profess, having serious doubts as to the existence of God and the continuity of life after death.

However, when these people are beset

WHAT IS SPIRITISM REALLY ABOUT ?

Spiritism answers many fundamental questions, such as:

* Who am I ?
* What was I before being born ?
* What shall I be after death ?
* Why am I living in this world ?
* Why do some people suffer more than others do ?
* Why are some people born rich and others poor ?
* Why are some blind, crippled, mentally handicapped, etc..., while others are intelligent and healthy ?
* Why does God permit such inequality amongst His children ?
* Why is there so much misfortune in the world and why does sadness outweigh happiness ?
* Of three people travelling in the same car, which suffers an accident, one dies, one is seriously injured and the third person suffers nothing ? Where is God’s justice in this ?
* Why do some bad people suffer less than others who are good do ?

These are questions we all ask ourselves whenever we see so much inequality or endure so many different experiences during the tribulations of life on this planet.

INTRODUCTION

Even amongst those who call themselves SPIRITISTS, only a few really know Spiritism. The majority prefers to hear about it from others rather than study it for themselves. When referring to the SPIRITIST DOCTRINE, the only recognised and reliable sources of information are the works by Allan Kardec, who acted as codifier - a list of which is to be found at the end of the last page.

This page has been prepared because perhaps initially the reading of all of Kardec’s books might offer a daunting prospect for many who wish to know more about this philosophy. However, this in no way reduces the necessity of reading and studying all of these books, which together form the BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF SPIRITISM, if one really wishes to know the doctrine.

Tour of Your Energy Bodies As Seen with Higher-Vision (The Human Constitution In Its Healthy & Awakened State)

You are more than the physical body that you sense. Your mind, emotions, and soul have their own bodies. These bodies are distinct from yet connected to your physical body. You have many bodies. Highly sensitive people have always been able to perceive one or more of these nonphysical bodies. Recent advances in science and technology are verifying their existence. Our day to day experience confirms their reality.

How Rapid Spiritual Energetic-Psychotherapy Works:

This approach takes the philosophy that everything is Good or Better rather than Bad or Good. Just as a newborn baby cries like a monster but if given the right multilevel nurturence matures into a benevolent adult, and, just as what seems like an ugly bud if given the right nurturence blossoms into a beautiful flower; so it is with dis-ease, physical and psychological. Spiritual Energetic-Healing, -Psychotherapy, Etc. views all as energy in various stages of maturation. Using superconscious abilities, these patterns of disease (or need for maturation) are identified and then the energy that is needed to facilitate maturation is infused into the pattern from the Sun on energy levels (which is the local source of our existence and life on all levels). This maturing energy contains the personal and universal divine plan of perfect health, perfect happiness, and perfect consciousness. Thus the pattern quickly becomes one of benefit and the issue is resolved swi

God's Shop
I went in and saw an Angel standing behind the counter. Amazed I looked at him and said, "What is it that you sell?". "All God's gifts", he replied. "Are they expensive?", I promptly asked. "No, they are all free of charge". I went on contemplating the shop, I saw jars and flasks of Faith, packets of Hope, little boxes of Salvation and Wisdom. I courageously placed my order, "Please, I very much want the Love of God, all his Forgiveness and eternal Salvation for my family and I." The Angel then prepared a little parcel, so small that it fitted on the palm of my hand. "Is it possible for EVERYTHING to be here?" Smiling the Angel replied, "My Beloved brother, in God's store we don't sell fruits, only seeds." The mere appearance of pureness is not enough, because above all else it is necessary to have a pure heart.

TIME FOR MEDITATION

You must practise at least twice every day , and the best times are towards the morning and the evening. When the night passes into day,and day into night, a state of relative calmness ensues. The early morning and the early evening are the to period of calmness . Your body will have a like tendency to become calm at those times . We should take advantage of that natural condition and begin then to practise. Make it a rule not to eat until you have practised;if you do this , the sheer force for hunger will break your laziness . In In dia they teach children never to eat until they have practisedor worshipped, and it becomes natural to them after a time ; a boy will not feel hungry until he has bathed and practised.
